Pre-anaesthetic Consultation

Pre-anaesthetic assessment and consultation is an important part of specialist anaesthetic practice. Your anaesthetist wil often do an anaesthetic assessment immediately prior to your surgery. However, with patients who have complex procedures planned, have severe medical illnesses or specific anaesthesia related concerns or problems, a pre-anaesthetic consultation in our rooms may be necessary. Ideally this consultation should occur the week before the intended hospital admission. An appontment will be made for you by our practice managers. Hospital Services

We provide private anaesthetic services at the North West Private Hospital. This includes anaesthetic services for orthopaedic surgery, general surgery, ophthalmology, ENT surgery, urology, gastro-enterology, dental surgery, gynaecology and obsterics. All of our anaesthetists also provide public anaesthetic services at the North West Regional Hospital.

Emergency services

All our anaesthetists take part in an oncall roster for after hours emergency services at the North West Regional Hospital. This includes after hours and emergency obstetric services at the North West Private Hospital.
